T-Ball Rules
Age: 2006-2007 (5yrs -6yrs)
Tee-Ball is a skill-building, learning experience,the score is not the focus of the game.
Rules of Play
- 45 feet between the bases.
- A real or imaginary line between first and third base (playing line).
- Every player bats and plays in the field.
- The offense will be allowed no more than 2 coaches on the field; 1st base, 2nd base,
3rd base and coach to replace the ball at each plate. - The defense will be allowed no more than 2 coaches on the field of play; left field and right field.
- Players may bring their own bats, however they must be approved baseball (no softball) bats and be available to the whole team.
- The ball is hit off a batting tee, there is no pitching.
- No extra bases will be awarded on overthrows.
- There may only be 6 infielder and 7 outfielders.
- The defensive pitcher must stand on or behind the playing line.
- The ball must travel 5 feet or it is foul, draw semi circle in front of plate.
- No fielder may cross the playing line until the ball is hit.
- No stealing. The player(s) must stay on the base(s) until the ball is hit.
- An inning is over when all of the players have batted once.
- Three outs do not end an inning. Each team bats its’ entire team.
- The game is 3 innings or an hour; which ever comes first.
- A player is out if thrown out, tagged forced out/or caught fly, 1st, 2nd 3rd.
The player must leave. - Pitchers wear helmets.
- Scores are not kept because these games are not official.
- Helmets must be worn while a player is at-bat or on the base path.
- Tee-adjustable, flexible tube on a moveable base.

Home team makes decision by 5:00pm and call other coaches
