House League Tournament Tie-Breaking Formulas
If two teams are tied after the round robin, this system of tie breaking will apply
- The result of the games between the two teams.
- The team with the smallest runs against ratio (runs allowed/number of defensive innings played.
- The team with the highest runs ration (runs scored/number of offensive innings played.
- A coin toss. Team travelling the furthest calls the toss.
If three or more teams are tied after the round robin, then this system will apply to pick the 1st place team. Once the 1st place team is picked, we will revert to the tie breaking formula for 2 teams.
